Who we are

Our website address is https://humananimal.eu.

What personal data do we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form and the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

NOTE: We don’t have comments active on this website.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. This is because visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

If you send us a message using our contact form, we will receive your name, email address, remote ip, message content, and other information you provide on the contact form.

If you send a direct email, we only receive your email and the information you provide. The email is our primary contact with you, and we only contact you solely for necessary information about the business you have with us. For direct contact (meeting, online session, etc), we suggest adding us on Telegram or having meetings through Zoom. Note that those platforms have their privacy policy.

Digital  products  will require you to fill a form with your name and email to receive them after the payment, and we will keep that information on our server as a payment record.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data, and it is discarded when you close your browser.

We will also set up several cookies to save your login information and screen display choices when you log in. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

An additional cookie will be saved in your browser if you edit or publish an article. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.

If you accept our cookies policy when you visit our website, that information will expire in one year.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, shopping, payments, zoom meetings, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves similarly as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

We use the minimalistic essential Jetpack integrated with the WordPress platform. If you use this website, we will only see general information about the visitor: Country, referrer, and pages visited.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your data with anyone unless you officially request it. IF YOU REQUEST A PASSWORD RESET, your IP address will be in the reset email.

How long do we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This automatically recognizes and approves any follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

NOTE: We don’t have comments active on this website.

We also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles for users that register on our website. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can see and edit that information (except username) but cannot see your password. They are only able to reset it if requested by you.

NOTE: We don’t have member registration active on this website.

Digital downloads and services

If you buy an e-book or any other digital download, we will store your name, email, and purchased product for payment record only. It is not a member registration. The payment is made through PayPal/Stripe, and we do not have any access to your account credentials. We only see in our Paypal/Stripe account the standard transaction information. You will receive the e-book or digital download by email.

What rights do you have over your data?

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes, for example, the shopping of digital downloads. Note that if you request the deletion of your account, you will lose all your information and any other related information only accessed by your account. This process is irreversible.

NOTE: We don’t have member registration active on this website.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments are checked through an automated spam detection service (Akismet Anti-Spam and our server (one.com) spam protection).

Akismet collects information about visitors who comment. The information it collects includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).

Visitors are checked through an automated firewall (WordFence), which will collect your IP, location, and internet operator. However, we only check this information if WordFence sends a spam alert or website breach-related to the IP, which is rare since the IP blocking in the circumstances above is an automated feature.

We also use hCaptcha to prevent spam messages and bots on our contact form. hCaptcha is user-privacy-focused and follows the CCPA and GDPR policy.

Registered users, if any, are also checked through the services above.
